Ewan...I grew up with the prequels (and at the risk of being burned at the stake) liked them better.

I was never big on Anakin however, he annoyed me.

Twilight would like Lord of the Rings more because it's all world building and has its own mythology. Twilight strikes me as a being into mythology and legends.

L Mage Ewan is cool and it says a lot that I didn't associate him with the first films I saw him in Trainspotting and ThePillowBook

I found the prequels to have equal amounts of cheese as the original trilogy. It's just that Nostalgia Filter makes people forget all the cheese of episodes 4-6, so they come down on the prequels hard for that. If you take out the Romantic Plot Tumor, they are fine movies, and the romance isn't so bad as to ruin everything else.

Twilight is definitely a LOTR pony, though.

Funny thing about that romantic tumor. While watching somebodies rant about it, I noticed something, during the balcony scene on Naboo, where Anakin was trying to get close to Padme and she started off trying to get him to back off, then suddenly changed her mind......look closely, RIGHT before she flips gear you see Anakin make a tiny and VERY familiar movement with his hand.
