Oh, we're going over pony ages again? I've always assumed that the ponies are in the 19-22 age bracket; sort of right on the edge of full adulthood. Other than that we can't really say. And I do want to point out that the fact that Twilight is a student doesn't necessarily imply anything about her age; I've always interpreted her as someone who finished her primary education and then went on to get an advanced degree, which she's working on now. I'm 23 and I'm still a student, after all.

I mean, the more I hear of people's quest through the game, the more I want to experience it for myself. Sounds kind of on the same par of hell IWTBTG is on, but more reasonable. Or at least I hope x.x

@JT: I agree that Twilight could be fairly old and still a student (I'm 25 and have just started a 3 year PHD) but Rarity at least probably had university education as well, yet has finished, making her likely older. Plus, Twilight has some childish naivite. Her being in University is incidental to certain other pieces of evidence.

You can get a PHD in 3 years over there? Any respectable program over here goes for at least 5. Which is why I'm probably not going to go for it any time soon; I need a full time job before I can invest that much.

I'm guessing yes, but not to the same degree that Pegasi can.

@JT Im 32 and still a student, but I did decide to sit out school for several years. I didnt have access to funding and the degree I had was adequate for my field.

Something happened and suddenly I had aspirations again so I went back to school.

I consider Pickory to be much easier than IWBTG, though of course that doesn't mean it's easy.

@Applelight - Hmm... Engineer, mechanic. The guys who work on the equipment here at the Hospital are "Biomedical Engineers"

I think thats what I want to get my masters degree in, Biomedical Engineering (or Laboratory Information Systems depending on what the market looks like when Im ready to take that step)

Oh that's how it works in FE as well. E Ps can't build a whole lot of stuff themselves, but they have the natrual ingenuity to intergrate Pegasi and Unicorn skills into their designs
