I know it doesn't fit with the tone of the show, but I wish that we could see Celestia Curb Stomp at least 1 villain next season

The mane cast might be able to do it if they used the Elements, but there isn't really any in show reason for them to do so.

Would the elements even work though? They seem to work only on evil ponies (though since their only target so far has been Luna, I can't really say)

I can imagine her Flash Stepping past the element's attack tbh.

Wait, why didn't NM try that. If a mere (by Alicorn standards) Unicorn is capable of teleportation over a short distance, why didn't she do that to dodge the Elements?

She actually tried to escape by traveling to the moon, where it caught up with her and de-powered her so that she couldn't travel back. She spent the next 1000 years recovering her strength so she could teleport again.

By the way, my first attempt at drawing a sprite

◊ is done. It's partly based on Desktop Ponies.

The hard part is the legs. I could barely get it to look decent while standing still, so I have no idea how I'm going to do the animations.

Twi's hind leg looks overly thin to me, which might be why you see a problem. Maybe give up a pixel or two in the belly direction? Otherwise, she's looking pretty cute.
