Moving away from the topic of the Hate Dumb is anyone hoping for a pony version of "Magic to Do" or Defying Gravity" I'd expect Twilight Sparkle or the Villian Of The Week to do the former and Fluttershy (opposed by Rainbow Dash or Rarity) to sing the latter.

That should be completley original. A good villian song is always tailored to the villian that sings it.

Should it be a light, fluffy villain song like "Mother Knows Best"? Or a menacing one like "Be Prepared"?

I don't know, I really liked mother knows best - just because it was so under-spoken, and had this sort of slimy feel to it. Made Gothel feel really threatening despite not being all that dangerous on her own. I guess it depends on the nature of the villain.

At least we got more hamminess in Gothel's reprise. That was awesome.

Come to think of it. A villain singing a Dark Reprise of one of the Mane cast's songs (Prince Ali reprise style) would be interesting

I can just imagine it: The cast are up against an evil enchantress, Twilight turns to Pinkie, sighs, and says "Go ahead", but right as Pinkie is about to sing it, evil organs and a swelling orchestra flares up, and the villain starts singing her song in the most evil manner possible.

I'm also getting "Big and Loud" flashbacks for some reason, maybe a song like that for a rival of Rarity's perhaps?
