I think a lot of them say they would buy the toys, but only once the toys start to look exactly like the show.

On a different note, I was looking around in my closet and discovered I have a huge basket of my sister's old pony/horse toys, most of it G1 My Little Pony. Since my sister moved out, they are now *my* ponies. Among them is Firefly! That got me excited. She's sitting on my desk right now.

I didn't recognize any of the others (no G1 Applejack for me), but it amuses me to no end that this whole time I've been a fan of the show I had a huge cashe of pony in my closet.

why "creepy"? You can clearly see by looking back through this thread, most of us are intellectual, and like to discuss the show. We aren't doing this for perverted reasons

it means someone making a comment on a forum before someone else can. The person who was too slow was "ninja'd"

To be honest, I find it odd that I do like this show. I'm 19 and a male. Though, then again, I have raised myself in thinking I'm not aloud to like this kind of stuff. So it's probably a bit of arrogance on my part. :P

Nothing wrong with it in the slightest (I don't like it, but I'm not going to judge anyone else), It's just that most of the adult pony fans got into it through FIM

Why are you trying to be a dick? No one on this forum has a problem with you or anyone else liking ANYTHING that makes them happy. The old MLP is no exception

There's nothing wrong with watching older gens, its just that most fans agree that the current show is of much higher quality. It was designed to be viewable by people of any age, and it shows.

And some are of the opinion that the other series aren't that good, but that's a personal opinion thing.
