L Mage: Yeah. She's a hard worker when it comes to magic. It's her cutie mark. That's what people with cutie marks do. And that's another flaw, if you want to think about it, too withdrawn and reliant on books. I believe that was the character trait that kicked off the entire story. So if anything, it shows her has a more developed character than anything. If her cutie mark was collecting coins, you can bet your ass she would be in that library researching every coin in the world. That's not a reliance on magic. That's Twilight Sparkle.

Mage: Where has it been shown that? She couldn't even overcome any of the tasks the dragons set up with Magic, could she? It was only at the very end, where she used a spell that had been established before.

and I want to know what the appeal of her being unopposed in magic is

Still, it's a good lesson to learn for Twilight. All you've done is expand on other parts of her character not refute the position that she is over-reliant on magic and needs to learn her identity is not dependent on it, and neither is her friend's opinion of her.

But why is it a good lesson for Twilight specifically? She's had PLENTY of things to challenge her preconceived notions. If anything, someone like Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy or RD might be better off learning that.

Anyway this episode support my headcanon about dragons (or at least winged dragons). They are not nice, sentient but with almost no society and adult don't take care of young dragons at all.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

Sent the Ursa minor back to it's mommy...which remember that episode was all about her being the exact OPPOSITE of what your accusing her of L Mage, it was about her thinking her magic was a liability and made her a freak, not thinking it was the end all and be all of herself.

Even if Foe Yay weren't a retarded reason for a ship existing, even if it were "cute" (which it isn't because it's dumb and annoying), even if the ship makes absolutely no sense when you consider things like the way the characters actually acted, it's still fucking overdone.

@ Death: Really? Dragons have been seen being sentient before. Everything we've seen outside of the plants are sentient. And the episode where dragons hang out in a social context proves that they don't have a society and the adult dragons watching over the younger dragons proves they don't care about their children?
