Twi has spent years studying and practicing her magic so of course she's good at it.

@AHR DBZ had other characters who were on par or stronger than the heroes

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
when did we ever say she as perfect? we're saying that she doesn't have the flaws your trying to say she needs to learn a lesson about.
as to
Always Someone Better, yeah kinda hard to do that without completely invalidating Celestia herself saying she'd never seen a unicorn with such raw power.
Twilight does not define herself by her magic, she doesn't think other ponies only like her for her magic, nothing you are saying she needs t learn about are things she does.
now can we get away from the recursive feedback loop here for a bit?
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
@ gingerninja That he is powerful?

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
@ L Mage: Considering she mentioned 3 flaws in her post I doubt it.
Tealove is best pony.
Pony Fanon Index
I like Twilight for her hilarious mental breakdowns and adorkableness. The magic power is just either a story telling or a plot device. And she's mostly just being manipulated and molded by Celestia into becoming whatever she is anyways.
What's the worst that could happen anyways?
I don't like characters being unopposed in ANYTHING they do. I think is my problem...
but again, you'll probably shut that down in one post

Next episode preview: more My Little Terraformers. Did Discord really break the world so hard the ponies have to tame it to get some semblance of order back? Apparently they're still scared of wild climates like the Everfree.
@AHR but It is a deal breaker for me...
I don't like protagonists being unopposed in anything they do

Ginger: Ok. It's a deal breaker for you. That's fine. Really.
if she ever met
the inquisitor, no matter how much he asked "who are you?" at no point would she ever say "the most powerful unicorn ever" or anything to that effect she just doesn't see herself that way, at all.
has she ever been used as a
Deus ex Machina? no, has she ever easily beaten a problem on her own no matter who else tried? No. Is she flawless? no.
With the exception of Trixie, not on single pony gives a flying feather about "power levels" or "OP-ness" so why should we?
now can we please more on before this feedback loop gets any worse?
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Just, someone tell me (I'm calm now, really. Now I'm just sad and curious)
What is the appeal of knowing that Twi will NEVER come across another unicorn that even approaches her level of power?

I don't think anyone does at that makes them a
Boring Invincible Hero. The problem is that while Twi is unopposed when it comes to magic you are ignoring the fact that when it comes to things outside of magic she can be beaten.

@ Seraphem
That neat idea. I must remember that for my B5 inspired fic.
