Can someone give me their reccomendation... with reasons for why I might like the series... that DON'T sound like they were written by snobby english literature professors? Would that be impossible to do?

You're on the wrong website buster or did te entire premise of this place not tip you off? Analysis and talking about these things like English majors is what this is all about, of course it's pretentious, what can be more pretentious than putting all this meaning into fiction? The point o all this is that it isn't to us, we see the value of it and think it's rather cool.

I guess it is an interesting question, how they'll draw a wedding out for two whole episodes. I highly doubt they'll be outright evil though.

I hope it's Armour because:

1.) He seems to be weaker than Cadence (going off of the fact that Cadence is an Alicorn) and I LOVE Villains who use their heads to overcome their lack of brawn

2.) He's Twi's brother
