I thought choppa was short for helicopter. As in "get to the choppa".
elves gave nightmares, too. My, how our perception of them has changed...
Have you read
Lords and Ladies?
Elves are terrific ... they beget terror
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Orks also mature in a fashion astonishingly similar to our Equestrian ponies, changing physically when they find their calling in life.
@Crowlover: Nah, Gothic's the official language of the Terran Empire. It's basically English.
Can you think inside the chimney?
I would recommend you try one of them one of these days, then if you like it, read more of Pterry's works.
I have not, at this point, read any of the Discworld books.
Well it's one of the biggest modern examples of Elves are Evil that I can think of. Heck, it provides the page quote on
The Fair Folk.

No, "Choppa" in Orkspeak means basically a bladed weapon. "Shoota" is the word for a gun.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
So we're talking about Orcs eh?
I've never really played them much. Sure they have the best infantry, but they just don't have any cool units. They're so bland. Even the humans at least have their air galley.

No no no, it's not Orcs, it's Orks.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Not that I like them. Filthy xeno scum >.>

^Well, given that Granny Smith is older than one of the better-known and more thriving hamlets in Equestria, either she's really old (and thus ponies have a fairly ridiculous lifespan) or Ponyville is significantly less than a hundred years old. Granted, living so close to the Everfree Forest must be an occupational hazard for the buildings there...

I should note that while GS does have a lot of "stereotypical old person" traits, it's also not entirely inaccurate either. And it's honestly not that bad of a portrayal; she's still active and involved in running the farm and raising her grandkids, so I'm willing to let the old person jokes slide.
^Given that she's directly responsible for the town's economy, it seems. =D
Can you think inside the chimney?
She basically MADE the town.

Yeah, but if she hadn't found the Zap Apples then their business wouldn't have really gotten off the ground

Not in cool games, like
Age of Wonders.

ANYWAY Windingos being Eldrichritshazaneger Abominations is a little too much.
Yeah, they're more like ordinary monsters. I guess Discord is the best fit if anyone.
