Yeah, I really liked it.

I'm a little dissapointed that no one ACTUALLY said: "Suddenly Cerberus" though

and Spike was awesome.

Actually, I think the "standing still" thing was my favourite scene

Ah, okay. I can understand flaws (flanderized Twilight, predictable self-fullfilling prophecy etc) but when I saw "MMDW-level shitstorm" I went "whut."

Every episode has at least one thing that somebody will dislike. Pleasing everybody is impossible, and if you try to please everypony, you will end up pleasing nopony. Especially yourself.

@Ginger: Handle showed up later to explain that he had had a crappy day already, so when the episode didn't stand up to expectations he got mad about it. On second thought, he said that it was about average.

Really? I mean I liked the guards, but I much prefered either Twi pretending to be a british guard, or insane Twi with the Telescopes

Well, to be perfectly honest, I think Fusion is the pinnacle of the series, solely for all of the elements in the story and what not. Plus, the SA-X was scary as all hell too D:

I loved the way Twi's eye moved at the top of the telescope, especially the way it moved to look at Pinkie and Spike.

The metroidvania game genre is sort of flawed as a concept, due to consistent backtracking and lack of direction as genre conventions.

Some people like it. I find it tedious and annoying. The lack of explicit direction I can handle, but backtracking makes me feel like I'm making little to no progress at best, and like I've done something wrong at worst. So... there's your differing opinion on that, I guess.

More on-topic, the guards were pretty sweet. Was it my imagination, or was their armour similar to the bat guards from Luna Eclipsed?
