I believe I am missing something here, what's Endless Eight?

Even though Pinkie's Pinkie Sense was useless, Twilight still brought her on the mission.
Bunai is known to make spelling and grammar errors, but will attempt to correct them once realized.

@The Freeman, The Melancholyof Haruhi Suzumiya, season 2 of the anime, or so I've heard, I basically just read the books.

But essentially, 8 episodes of the exact same thing.

ENDLESS EIGHT is a highly controversial arc in the manga and anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Yeah, I don't really hate any episodes either. MMDW was weak, but the scene of RD trying to open the peanut butter was inexplicably hilarious to me for some reason, and I thought it had some of the best animation at that point in the show.

The only episode I can think back to and go "I definitely do not like this episode" is Boast Busters. Off the top of my head, anyway. There are plenty of episodes I'm not in a hurry to re-watch, but I don't re-watch stuff all that much anyway.

Lot's of good stuff this episode. Loved the multiple morales and how they really explained everything without explaining.

Twi's "Don't get worked up about something the might happen" And the more subtle one from Spike, but realize how your actions in the present can come back to bite you later. So really a well balanced morale, Don't worry to much about the future, but also don't do something now that you'll regret later

Oh, that anime about the schoolgirl who's secretly a god-like being or something?

Eh, not interested in that series.

So if one wants to curse a pony to eternal damnation, one might say: " I'll see you in Tartarus!"

What's this "Suddenly Cerberus!" thing you guys were on about?

You know I'm wee bit bothered that at the beginning Fluttershy remains to be the doormat, thus learning nothing from the previous episode, and thus the cycle was complete.

Applejack is stubborn as a mule and she was quick to learn her lesson from ABS once the Flim Flams came to town.

Cerberus just shows up randomly.

Just a standard 3-headed dog. Kind of confirmed the underworld.

No big.

@Ginger: Yeah, Cerberus literally just shows up the middle of the episode. Caught everybody off guard.

@Mousa: The only thing I can think of in that case is that she still has a different dynamic with her friends than with random other ponies. Like I could totally imagine Fluttershy volunteering to carry the stuff, not realizing how much Pinkie Pie had.

@AHR: I read your post, you said you agree with me. But you didn't say why. I thought that the episodes biggest flaw (aside from not being very funny) was that it never once showed what a good example of assertiveness was. Rarity just shallowly seduced some dude to make him do what she wanted and Pinkie conned a shopkeeper. And Fluttershy's refusal to pay just sounded like she was refusing to pay on a technicality, since she didn't explain why she wasn't satisfied.

eh, don't think that was really her being a doormat, just her being helpful but her and Pinkie not really thinking things out.

@Superior Serperior Hold on, how is not disliking things a bad trait? Surly, unless the thing you like is evil or something, I see no reason why liking it could be a bad thing.

[up]More or less.

Good god, Tartarus. Even though that name is suppose to be a Hades-esque place, I can't help but think of the Tartarus from Tales of the Abyss.

Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned that no matter how worried you are about the future, you shouldn't try and cast a spell that stops time.

Celestia: "You tried to do what?"

Alternatively:

Twilight: YOU CANNOT STOP TIME KOMPRESSION.

It's actually really good. Avoids most anime cliches, does a whole lot of playing with tropes, and has a wonderful cast.
