Because I'm still a week behind, I just watched Putting Your Hoof Down. It... kind of sucked. A few good parts, but overall it was a really weak episode. And though I usually don't pay much attention to the aesops even I will say they screwed up the moral for this episode really badly. But I'm sure everyone has already had a big discussion about this last week so I won't bother going on about it.

How was the time travel episode?

Well, that was fun. Reusing the whole scene at the end was really the only thing wrong with it IMO. And I was right in guessing that the time travel spell was extremely limited in uses. Also, before we start railing on how stupid Twilight was here, she was almost as sleep-deprived as Applejack in Applebuck Season. Of course she isn't going to be thinking clearly.

@Blue Well, actually you're pretty much alone in thinking that...

To Ginger: I think you'll be okay with the episode. Twilight doesn't do anything overpowered (unless you infer a lot about returning Cerberus), Pinkie seems fairly subdued (though her first scene isn't too flattering), and all in all it's a fairly fun ride.

And the animators pretty much went into revolt about having to remake the same episode eight times.

I HATE FUCKING TIME LOOPS! Where is the beginning in the loop?! What would cause Twi to go back in time to start the loop?! It makes no sense, it MAKES NO SENSE! AHHHHHHHH!!!

Otherwise, I loved this episode.
