I think my favorite song is "Art of the Dress" not sure why.

As far as the lack of Character Development in the finale...are we sure that it's even the last chronological episode? I recall somebody trying to make a timeline and only coming up with a really loose order.

I like to assume they're all in chronological order because it's funny that they skip a cumulative two years between getting the tickets to the Gala and actually attending.

I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of "At the Gala". Nothing wrong with the song, but I think that time could have been better spent on something else.

I always loved that Pinkie had to specify "something sweet, not sour", after the mishap with Applejack.

"At The Gala" was ok, but a few of the lines kinda make me cringe (mainly Pinkie's verse).

As for favorite song? Definitely "Stitching It Together" or "Rarity's Dressmaking Song" or whatever you want to call the one from "Suited for Success". I can listen to it over and over.

Hmm, I don't know if I can find an old one that would live up to our new standards. Twinkle Wish Adventure had some cool-sounding songs, but the lyrics were still pretty hokey. Sweetheart did some very nice singing in My Little Pony Tales... Maybe this?

As a song... that was pretty good actually. She has a nice voice. Kinda makes me wanna hear a soulful ballad style song in Fi M aswell.

but in the context of the episode...... Were they just crying over letting a frog go back into the wild? Man, I'd love to see how the Fi M cast would react if in that situation

I saw the last half or so of "Applebuck Season" in reruns. I initially found the ending "saccharine", but now it strikes me as genuinely sweet.

At least we learn that Applejack will not ever break a promise, even to her detriment. Granted, it was more of a bet, but she promised to do the job herself and was slowly going insane from lack of sleep before she finally admitted she couldn't do the job herself. It's stubbornness, too, but she swore to do the job herself and did her damnedest to pull it off.

I wonder if Big Mac was REALLY too hurt to help out with the harvest? I mean he was walking fine, the area of injury just seemed a little tender. I like to think that he COULD'VE helped out, it was just AJ insisting that he should rest up
