It's possible the injury was not one that would interfere with walking, but would with kicking.

I doubt they called a horse vet to get a realistic injury.

Song-wise, I love anything with Rarity in it, because of the little squeals she'll give from time to time. Least favorite? Definitely the CMC theme. Even if it is bad on purpose, it's just...well, bad.

The CMC theme is a Guilty Pleasure of mine. The instrumental is pretty good though.

But because it's bad on purpose, it really shouldn't be considered in the running for "least favorite" because everyone (except ginger) would say the same thing. Basically, saying it's your least favorite is sort of a null statement, in that it provides no information about the subject.

But beyond that, I'm not really sure what to say, at least of the big musical numbers...I guess Winter Wrap up. It's good, but set next to the others and it's just not as good.

I love anything Sweetie Bell sings.

Her voice is just wonderful.

I also like Rainbow Dash's theme music. Not a singing song, but good music.

@Turnways Not true. I don't mind the CMC instrumental part. The singing grates on me, but that's just the song doing its job.

I'm a big fan of Winter Wrap Up, myself. Least favourite would probably be You Gotta Share, You Gotta Care. Probably because the lyrics are kind of bad and I know Pinkie can come up with better than that (given all her spur of the moment songs, I'd think something planned out should be better, not worse).

Edit: Wait, are we counting BGM too? Well, just to be safe, of Will's stuff, um, I think it's a three way tie between Pinkie's breakdown, Rarity's second fashion show and Pinkie's D Jing music at the Gala for me. Can't really say I have a least favourite, though.

I'm not fond of Giggle at the Ghosties and I'm not really sure why. I think it's mostly the ending, with its stop-start-stop thing.

Favorites, let's see... well, Applejack's part in Winter Wrap-Up is part of why she's my favorite character.

Maybe her improv skills are better than her songwriting skills?

Like the CMC theme, isn't You Gotta Share SUPPOSED to be bad (It pissed off the Buffalo to no end at least)

I think Pinkie's song was intentionally bad, hence annoying the buffalos. I do wonder if it was making fun of the previous series.

You could have posted the full song! Or did you prefer the previous art style? I do like how it makes Rainbow Dash look more insane during her infamous verse.

I've seen the toys, and they looked nothing like the designs from the show.

I hear that a lot, but what could you do to "fix" them to look right?

Regarding "Applebuck Season", did the whole conflict of the story seem a bit too trivial, and dragged out? Okay Applejack's tired because she insists she needs to harvest the apples all herself. It's a simple problem, but they only spend the last minute-and-a-half with Twilight finding a solution, and the middle of the episode is about the other four ponies forcing her to help them instead. Selfish. I know this is a simple show and a Slice of Life, but couldn't somepony realize she needs to sleep five minutes into the show instead of waiting til the very end to realize this? Whatever. It may have needed a song to make it exciting.

For my favorite, I would have to say Winter Wrap Up was very well made.

As for least favorite, I don't remember the songs all that well, but I do recall Pinkie's song in the second episode to be a bit off.

Applejack is just so strong and tough they never expected her to have a problem. Sometimes people are quite reticent about being less than 100%.

My favorite at the moment is "At the Gala" because it sounds so epic. Least favorite is Cutie Mark Crusaders' theme. And I love the instrumentals in that one.

Okay I suppose that goes with her character, and others would be nice enough to let her do it her way. But the theme of this show is friendship, right? Why didn't somepony say, "No, you're in no condition to go through with it, you won't be any less of a buck if you let the bet go, and just let the others help like always", sooner?

Well yeah. If you learn your lesson too soon or TOO much, you'd lose everything that makes you different from everypony else- Applejack IS KNOWN in the village for being hard-working. I know I overestimate my abilities and feel tired too.

That's the thing. Yes, someone should've put Applejack to bed, but she's very stubborn and refuses to accept even good advice.
