They are Polymer clay, I use either Sculpey or Primo! whichever one happens to be on sale or in the colors I need.

I mostly work in Precious Metal Clay now, I dont have anything super impressive to show off in that realm though. The stuff is too expensive to work with regularly.

It's based on the Watergate scandal that got Nixon in trouble. It's pretty common for some stupid issue to be referred to as whatevergate.

I just called it Derpygate ... in reference to Watergate which was another big scandal that changed the world. I dont think its officially Derpygate... I just made that term up on the fly to describe where my RAGE lay.

Wow Emi, I am impressed by your sculpture, those are amazing.

Though to answer your question, the answer is no, not really. I draw better when I'm distracted aka listening or watching simultaneously. And I'm more likely to emulate the emotions of the characters I'm drawing. For some reason I can feel myself making the faces I'm drawing, it's very weird.

I don't know about Austin, but I have been made aware of Texas brony's existence via Bronyville podcast because one of the hosts is in Texas.
