Well, with my experience with bronies online, 90-95% or so are cool and awesome and rational and simply like the show.
5-10% at creepy, obsessive, victims of
Fan Dumb, antisocial, or uncomfortable to be around.
So basically, I'm not too worried about attending a meetup ^^
But I'm thinking of possibly organizing/helping someone organize an Austin meetup. I wonder how I could get started on that... Hmm... (And I mean actual Austin, not suburbia where the buses don't run)

Well, I also have to admit I'm a bit nervous due to the fact that I'm probably a good bit older than some of the other fans. Being surrounded by people in their early twenties and younger would just be kind of surreal. It's one reason I don't usually go to cons in general except for SPX.

Ok, so maybe not so awkward, then. Maybe I'll try getting out to one if I'm free and don't have other plans. I still hate driving in DC though.

@Mouse Bottom right corner.
Just remember, the worst that can happen is that you get arrested for general creepiness. No need to worry at all!
haha! that's definitely another concern. Thanks crowfall, you're a pal!

The reasons I don't go to meet-ups is location since the college I'm at is out in the country. If not for that I would probably be in Northern Virginia. Another thing is I'm sort-of a mild to moderate introvert. I don't have problems or close down in crowds nut after a while they annoy me so I could do find in a medium-sized gathering but may not necessarily have the patience for a large one. Just depends on my mood.
I met some Malaysian Bronies once. They were at a mall, after some kind of comic book convention. One guy was dressed as Surprise. They seemed pretty chill.
The only convention I've really been able to not have total sensory overload or a panic attack has been the Small Press Expo. Though it's been close since that can get a little claustrophobic.

I know, I know. I do use the metro for most of my journeys into DC, actually. I just wasn't sure where the meetup spot was in relation to any stops.

So how call scandal involving
Star Gate Program?
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
@Mousa Do you know of any Brony (on-line) Communities in the state of Virginia? I am curious myself, I'm only aware of DC having one (no surprise).
I'm a Mexican pegasister! XD That lives in the U.S.... I guess I don't count though
