Anyone whose artsy. Im curious.. do you ART better in certain emotional states? It seems like my best stuff is done while severely depressed.

For example Here is a Dragon I sculpted

◊ When I was really down in the dumps.

I have tried to do it while happy and they look terrible. Ive given up on making them.

@Emi I just read this series, so I'm half expecting it to come to life.

@Drenius Apparently, only iTunes has the "fixed" version. Apple wouldn't release it without editing. But it's still the original on the DVD.

@ginger That's after Iron Will, right? Or is that the time travel episode?

Emi, try channeling the malaise about being too happy because of ponies into art. Obviously it bothers you, so try channeling that displeasure into your work, I guess?

I've drawn off and on for years now, but never regularly enough to be anywhere near talented. I started getting more into drawing ponies, but now I'm back at school and that's cutting into it.

Yes... school definitely cuts into art. At least in high school I had art classes where all I did was art...

Anyway, I should do a drawing project soon and then upload it. Drawing is fun! Maybe MLP should do an episode related to art.

And OMG! The Dragon was awesome! :D

And a funny story about the Green one. I brought it to work to show it off and one of my Coworkers took it because she thought I had given it to her to keep. I was too nice to ask for it back.
