Which series are you referring to? Spice and Wolf?

I like what I've seen, which isn't actually a lot. I really need to get around to finishing it. It somehow manages to make discussions of economics interesting, which in itself worth checking out.

[up][up] Twilight most likely would. Actually, I think they'd all probably love his movies.

@Apple: I recall watching a few episodes when I was a wee'un, but I haven't watched it recently. I recall really loving it, though. Mostly because the monsters were still felt like human-ish characters, even if the humans didn't fight. I don't remember how well they did.

@Ginger: Are you kidding? Fluttershy would love my neighbor totoro. Rarity would probably like Whisper of the Heart and Baron The Cat Returns.

Whenever I hear Miyazaki, I think of Order of the Stick. Which you still need to check out by the way.

Weren't you also not a fan of Homestuck's art? Pretty soon, Ginger, we'll have you watching/reading everything.

[up][up][up] Sure. A lot of strong female leads in Miyazaki's work.

She could definitely relate to them. grin

If there's any Miyazaki work Dash would like, it would probably be The Castle of Cagliostro.

Here's hoping Dash doesn't aspire to become just like Lupin...

Well she can't even steal a book from a hospital without getting caught, so criminal mastermind clearly isn't get career for her.

[up][up][up]Hmm, must have been someone else on the thread.

How did she get caught anyway when she snuck in to steal that book?

Was she STILL reading to herself out loud? [lol]

Wasn't there a pony on the bed who saw her?

Yeah, the cancer pony thought she was stealing his slippers.

[up]Maybe she isn't as stealthy as she thinks she is?

She actually did start reading right there under the bed, presumably out loud.

I know she was reading undeer the bed. The Cancer pony's voice even bleeds into her fantasy through one of the spiders. I was just wondering if she was actually dense enough to still be reading out loud, given the situation she was in [lol]

She thought reading it under that bed was a better idea than taking it back to her house first, so I wouldn't put it past her to still be reading out loud. And even if she wasn't maybe she was under there long enough that the pony in the bed woke up.

Fluttershy would LOVE Miyazaki's stuff. Especially Ponyo.

Spirited Away always depressed me....And not in a good "OMG SO MOVED I CRIES NOW" kind of way, but in sobering dark kind of way.
