I dunno. Ouran always struck me as being too... mean-spirited

Twilight would like Fullmetal Alchemist.
Would Twi like Code Geass?
I think RD
might like
Code Geass. A least all the mech stuff. Kallen vs Suzaku is how I always like to imagine a fight between AJ and RD going

Baccano is too gory, Twilight couldn't handle it I don't think. Granted, Fullmetal Alchemist is gory too, but it's less frequent.
I could see Twilight liking Spice and Wolf. Perhaps Big Macintosh as well, due to all the fancy mathematics.
Again, she might like
Code Geass
I think we also decided that the entirey of the mane cast would love
Summer Wars. All for different reasons

Mac would love
Spice and Wolf. Economics, trading and apples? Yeah, he'd be all over that. (And he's secretly in it for the romance, as well.)
Can you think inside the chimney?
Not-so-secretly I think. Mac doesn't seem the sort to get caught up on being "manly."
Dammit! I have no idea what
Spice and Wolf is

Well, there's a convenient blue link right there in your post that probably describes it better than I could.
In essence my issue was that if they were going to save the world, they should save the world, not get their pet monster to do it for them.
Have you seen
Monster Rancher? I only watched the first 12 episodes, but the humans definitely fight too, especially Genki.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Huh, that actually sounds pretty interesting. I'm not going to ask "the question" because this clearly isn't that type of series.
Is it any good?
