I've never actually seen ouran, I'm just going based on what clips I've seen...

I've never watched Oruan, but I've heard Fanfic/Dalton described as the crack baby of Glee and Oruan and I liked that well enough.

Baccano is too gory, Twilight couldn't handle it I don't think. Granted, Fullmetal Alchemist is gory too, but it's less frequent.

I'd rather see a snarky leader, SMART muscle, and hyper. Dumb characters are rarely interesting.

In essence my issue was that if they were going to save the world, they should save the world, not get their pet monster to do it for them.

Have you seen Monster Rancher? I only watched the first 12 episodes, but the humans definitely fight too, especially Genki.

Actually you make a good point. In fact, it would be funny if the 'super genius' leader was actually a complete dumbass...and the 'dumb' muscle was really the smart one. With hidden talents like chess playing skills and fluency in multiple languages.

The mane six would like Summer Wars because it's an amazing movie, is why they'd like it.

But I can definitely see Twilight loving Kino's Journey. Dash might like the couple of Colosseum episodes, and Fluttershy might like one or two of the more peaceful ones... though even then they might be too melancholy for her.
