@Gionger, last page: No, no no no no. That wasn't my intention at all, I'm sorry. I perfectly understand that a lot of people don't like it, and they don't like debating philosophy while they're watching a movie or what have you. That doesn't make them any less intelligent, and I completely respect that they don't want any part of it. They find their interest somewhere else in media.
But what interests
me about media most is it's ability to influence people. I love seeing people ponder over things, and learn and grow, and strive to be better. My favourite movies always leave me sitting in the theatre thinking, because I share that same drive myself. I want to know everything, experience everything. So I like stuff that challenges my point of view, and makes me think - makes me grow. From a more detached standpoint, I find people interesting; I like watching how they react to new experiences.
Gray and Grey morality is often more cerebral than other moral standards, and It tends to draw people to introspection by it's nature. But that isn't for everyone, and I recognize that. It doesn't make them stupid - the smartest person in the world may well have no interest in themselves, or in challenging their worldviews.
