I'd be fine if we got a Scootaloo episode, although given the choice I'd rather have an episode about the mane cast. Although a combination thereof would be best. Like maybe AJ and Rarity have a sleepover with their sisters, Scoots feels left out and convinces RD to be her sister so she can join in.

About the pancakes and waffles thing, pancakes are pretty much my Trademark Favorite Food when it comes to breakfast. I've loved them since I was little, and the characters I made up would always eat them for breakfast, too. Nothing's wrong with Scootaloo. I am simply unconcerned that she doesn't have an episode and that there are no indications that she'll be getting one. Sort of like how I've no interest in an episode about Rarity's parents except in how it affects Rarity.

Oh, and ginger, I don't really care about Sweetie Belle either. The only one I really like is Apple Bloom and I think she has enough focus as it is.

A friend of mine actually had a terrible, but sort of tragically hilarious theory on Scootabuse: Equestria's peace is contingent on Scootaloo's unhappiness. In essence, Scootaloo is a container for the world's unhappiness. If she were ever to be truly happy, all of the unhappiness would spread over Equestira. She can be happy for a while, but no cutie mark, no true love, etc. etc.

It's horrible and has absolutely no grounding in anything, but the ludicrous bleakness of it is actually sort of entertaining. Which I suppose is why people like Scootlabuse to begin with; the over-the-top horridness is funny. Sort of like all those Rarity is abusive to Sweetie Belle things.
