If you are miserable somewhere and can only forsee failure... Its better to drop out.

I started out going to College for a 4 year Molecular Biology bachelor's degree and found out that the school completely sucked. I dropped out after a year and a half and took a break for a few years. Then I went back and got an Associates degree, now working towards a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Eventually shooting for a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or Laboratory Information Systems.

@Mio Yeah. Hype Backlash hit me REALLY fucking hard with that show.

but no, everyone kept banging on about how it's the greatest show in the world and about how Kamina is so cool.

Shows like these are why I'm always uneasy about taking recomendations

I'll agree that Hype Backlash is really harsh for TTGL. I enjoyed it a lot - it's in my top five, probably top three - but I'm really lucky I didn't have people forcing it down my throat, or I would never have agreed to watch it. There's a reason I'll never read Homestuck, for instance.

Anyway, how about those ponies? What do you guys think racial politics is like between Cloudsdale, Manehattan and Canterlot? Being the capital must be a big thing for the unicorns' city.

I actually prefer D.C. to NYC, but it could because I'm 10 minutes away and we've got the freaking Smithsonian Institute and the Folger Shakespeare library. Anyway, I like to imagine that the ponies have largely overcome any racial disparity, but I'm sure i'm being overly optimistic.
