Mixed bag of what you were hoping for Ginger, Pinkie is genuinly annoying, but nearly every pony calls her out on it, she ends up saving the day, but she does learn that some ponies just prefer privacy and there's nothing wrong with that, Cranky wasn't a jerk and it's made clear it's all Pinkies fault for pushing to hard. And really if you think about it, if he's living in ponyville, he'd meet Matilda there anyway eventually, all Pinkie did was speed it up a bit.

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.

Yeah, I think Cranky's annoyance was totally justified. He asked Pinkie to leave him alone, and she responded by violating his personal space and breaking his possessions. Being angry about that isn't being a jerk.

I missed the beginning of the episode, got in just as she started singing "Smile, Smile, Smile". Was the girl donkey in the intro? Cause I'm not sure how I feel about her appearing out of nowhere... I was kinda hoping it was the Mayor when I heard the voice. "Whoa! The Mayor was in love with a Donkey!"

Just saying, they passed up on some comedy gold right there.

@Ginger: Dude, if you don't want to watch the episode fine, but don't start Complaining about Shows You Don't Watch. Either avoid it and don't complain about it, or watch it and actually be able to give reasons outside of "I don't like the summary". It's not a crock of shit just because you personally don't like how it played out.
