Yeah, you can't really complain about it if you don't give it a fair shake ginger. I thought it was great myself, even if the end was a bit contrived, it was the writers at some of their best.

Ginger, its not a friendship like Pinkie wanted. Cranky ends up liking her, but still gets annoyed with her antics afterwards. He still wants peace.

For what it's worth Ginger, I'm not sure if Cranky would be enough to outweigh Pinkie for you. I think you'd really like him, but I also think Pinkie is annoying enough to make you have a stroke.

Yeah, before Cranky gets introduced, the episode is basically the "Isn't Pinkie Awesome!?" show. Granted, the second half basically tears that apart, but still.

I think donkeys in Equestria are very elegant. Matilda was dressed proper and acted polite! Cranky was only cranky because he'd been searching for her for years. Donkeys would be very welcome at the Gala! ...at the GA-LA!
