It's because she holds herself personally responsible for that massacre.

God, I hate it when people say that. If something is messing with my ability to believe something and buy it, don't say, oh wait till you're at the end, it'll be explained then.
I should be able to believe something at ALL times

@ Allik, really have to disgree with some of that, 4chan is not the Jerusalem of Mecca of Brony-dom, it is not some place revered for it significance. Yes it is where brony-dom originated, but not where it really flourished and had it's high point. it's our Nile River Valley, our Tigress and Euphrates valley, sure but not any place anypony reveres.

I'd be a pegasus. Being able to fly would be brilliant. I'm afraid of heights but that doesn't seem to stop Fluttershy. I wouldn't want to be an Earth pony. They really seem to have drawn the short straw.
"At least I'm not a time-traveling, shape-shifting robot operated by tiny cross people, which I've got to admit, I didn't see coming."
I'd like to be a pegasususususususus. Flying is awesome.
Yeah, I got cute.
I would want to be either a Unicorn or an Earth Pony, I am not to found of the Pegasi in the show (except for Fluttershy), magic would be awesome, but Earth Ponies are the coolest.
Gay, Autistic, Nerd, Gamer, Gleek, Brony, Writer, Fan, Master Of The Ever Changing Avatar, Mad Man.
I am in fact awesome.
I have no physical ability to speak of, so I'll be a unicorn.
I'd prolly end up a unicorn because I'm not fit at all, although being an Earth Pony would be pretty neat.
Oh, speaking of the different races, the EP inferiority crap in FE is beginning to grate

Unicorn. In addition to magic being awesome, I'd like to be able to finely manipulate things without having to resort to my mouth XD
And Ginger, one of the soon-to-be main characters is an earth pony. You'll like him, I think.

Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
I have some physical ability, but not an incredible amount. As much as I love
E Ps, I'd probably be a Unicorn.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
@Librarian he's also a super-ghoul. He doesn't count

some people like the suspense and surprised, but since you don't
spoilers
Many years before the war Luna had asked Celestia's help in starting her own School for Gifted Unicorns, and Celestia agreed, it was decided that it would be located away from Canterlot to prevent people from drawing to many connections between the two or having Tia's overshadow Luna's. There were three possible locations to consider, one of them Crescent Moon Valley was the one Celestia instantly decided on, for the sole, only reason of...she wanted to see Luna's face when she told her she'd be sending all of Luna's students "TO THE MOON!!!"
Said valley was right on the border with the Zebra lands, which at the time was not an issue since relations were cordial. But several years after the war started a Zebra refugeee convoy was passing through the valley, when they refused to halt or identify themselves as they approched the School, they activated the defenses, soon as the first shot were fired the ponies realzed there mistake but it was to late, one of the few actually armed guards for the convoy got inside the walls and set off a massive gas bomb that killed every pony there, most of whom were students and teachers.
Celestia blamed herself for all those innocent ponies dying, simply due to her wanting to play a practical joke on her sister and became so greif strickin she step back into the shadow's and let Luna take the fore (she didn't go away entirly, she just swapped positions with luna)

So yesterday I spent roughly two hours slowly trying to catch up to this thread while playing
Dark Souls. I made it through about 15 pages, but when I was done there were 10 more pages added. So I guess I'll admit defeat and
Thread Hop. Ya'lls conversation yesterday was quite entertaining though.
I'd like to wish Mousa a happy belated birthday, all 5 of him.
So what are we doing now?
If I die tomorrow/ I'll be alright/ because I believe/ that after we're gone/ the spirit carries on.
As to the EP thing, one of the Stables was decided to be ran as an all EP society just to see how that would work
not only is it one of the few completely successful vaults but they end up going leaps and bounds above anything pony society has developed yet, that was the vault Red-Eye was from and they developed the ability to make cyber-ponies there while all the rest of Equestria was regressing technilogicly.
Also we clearly see the Steelhooves was a friggen badass even before being ghoulified.

Mage: Both unicorn and pegasus is a fairly good fit for me and when I thought about this the first time it was a pretty tough call. Unicorn would fit a lot of what I do on a day to day basis, but I'm good at and fond of agility and reflex based activities. In the end, it's a want that tips the scale. I'd like to experience flight in the way that a winged creature would. So TLDR: pegasus.
