Yeah, I think the hardest part of Daring Do works is figuring out how to deal with her ability to fly. For example, traditional platformers are right out.

If you're thinking of platforming mechanics for her, Daring's flight might behave differently depending on how you control it:

If you tap Jump repeatedly, she hovers in a manner similar to Tails in Sonic 3.
If you press and hold Jump, Daring goes into a sort of glide that can be controled and angled.
If you crouch and tap Jump (spindash command from Sonic), Daring charges up to break into flight from a grounded position, VTOL style. Flight controls handle similarly to X's Falcon Armor flight in X5, only faster and longer-lasting.

Kirby games are platformers, yet Kirby has unlimited flight and hover capabilities. I'm sure a Daring Do platformer would work alot like this, though with faster flight speed.
