Sigh, I'd still say that I think what happened to Diamond Tiara was too mean spirited, even for this series. Mainly because it served absolutely no purpose but to be unpleasant. Everything else, no matter how grisly gave SOME forward momentum to the story, even if it just lead to Pip picking up a particular item. Not this.

Anyways, if I could choose which tribe to be I'd be pegasus, but if it was assigned based on current traits offhand I'd say EP. Maybe Unicorn for my dexterity and scientific bent, but eh.

@ Kegisak: Actually, if I remember right... she comissioned Rarity to make it out of fabric so it would be light, and then got it enchanted to have good armour properties. Dash just designed it.

@ Seraphem: Pink Eyes was awesome in every way.

Though I did think the end was a bit underwhelming.

@ Kegi, she basically just took AJ's Steel Ranger armor design, adapted it for Pegasi and made some Rule Of Cool mods to make ti more intimidating without really doing anything.

other way around it was made of metal then enchanted to be light as cloth.

eh, don't bother with Pink eyes. From what I read the author basically can't decide what they want to do with the lead, and it makes it too jittery and feel sort of schizophrenic. It's... not that good. At all.

Do you mean the Sparkle Cola RAD!!! (it's a buck to the teeth, WITH RADISHES!) it does end up getting used for something specific a LONG time from ow, as to normal Sparkle Cola, nope just a tasty drink.

admittedly it is no where near FOE's writing, but it is quite humorous in it's own right. But yeah the overall story structure between chapters is kind of a mess, still entertain to read at least once.

@Seraph: Admittedly I only made it through the first chapter, but I couldn't see it going anywhere really good. The trouble with writing really young kids is it's hard to keep them in character, because it isn't a mindset most adults can mimic. The main character's maturity kept shifting, and it broke immersion for me.

I get what the author as trying to do. They were trying to make it like Tideland. But they couldn't keep the character innocent enough, and they didn't push it fa enough to be really creepy. It's just... eh. Not bad, but not what it wanted to be.

RAD cola doesn't do much yet, but we later find out that some individuals actually benefit from radiation.

Yeah, the earth ponies made the technology. The pegasi power armour was made more by Rarity than RD and was less effective than the Steel Ranger armour.

And yeah, the Ministry of Morale had thought police as one of its functions whereas the Ministry of Image uppoted the other ministries by making all their postrs, pamphlets, uniforms etc. to give the public the right impression.

I'd be a unicorn as I'm not even slightly athletic. I've got several funny stories about how terrible an athelete I am.

You know what I want to see in a fanfic? Something that really captures the feeling of flight. Something that brings home just how freaking big the sky is and what it's like to move through it. Even My Little Blackbird hasn't really done that.
