I'd have to say Applejack. I don't dislike her, but she just seems less interesting than the other ponies. She's too normal.

I just realized today that there are apparently three different sets of Red Oni, Blue Oni in the show. Well, not strictly that but dang close.

Pair 1: The calm and collected Twilight (Blue) and the spastic and random Pinkie (Red)

Pair 2: The prim and proper Rarity (blue) and the down-and-dirty Applejack (red)

Pair 3: The quiet and timid Fluttershy (blue) vs the loud and obnoxious Rainbow Dash (Red)

Don't forget that applejack acts as a Blue Oni for Rainbow Dash's Red Oni half the time

mostly because RD is spontaneous wheras AJ is more down to earth

True, Rainbow Dash could use some more compelling goals. But one thing I'm starting to notice about Dash is that she tends to be the biggest snarker of the gang, even more so than Spike, and I wonder if the reason I can't remember her going on any really big angry tirades like the others is that she's most able to vent her negativity in smaller amounts at regular intervals.

Pair 3: The quiet and timid Fluttershy (blue) vs the loud and obnoxious Rainbow Dash (Red)

It's funny how their literal colors ended up on the wrong sides of the spectrum somewhat for this last pair.
