I saw episode two again and I just noticed something I had missed before. Twilight says "the last known location of the five elements was in the ancient castle of the royal pony sisters." That means Celestia and Luna used to live there and it was probably the site of the tiff they had. Also, the castle seems to predate Everfree Forest so the battle between the two was likley why the forest "don't work the same way as Equestria." This has probably been posted before but I'd wager Celestia only had five of the elements at the time and therefore could not change Luna back so she banished her to the moon instead.

About the Doctor Whooves thing. Anypony know if these are being recorded somewhere? Like, with a chart or a checklist or something?

I don;t know if DW aired before in my (Poland) but new series aired and thanks to it I started to watch and love this series. Also you can watch in internet.

And about qouestrion, he is not medic, Doctor is his name (name what he choose to use), many of Time Lord use similar names (like Master). Go to DW page for details.
