The doctor is a time traveling alien from an ancient and powerful race called the time lords. Over the years earth became the doctor's favourite planet and humans his favourite species. He defends them from alien invaders and oftentimes takes a few of them (his companions) on journeys through time and space where he fixes problems for other worlds. In the new series he's one of the last of the time lords, them all having been wiped out in a massive war with his arch-enemies the daleks. The doctor's just a name he chose cuz he likes it. Another time lord, and his Worthy Opponent is called the master

If you look at Luna from Celestia's perspective, is she a Dark Magical Girl?

A young (if immortal) girl with magical powers, suffering the loneliness of an abandoned night for eternity, turns to evil, gets a Plot-Relevant Age-Up, dons a gothy, slightly bondagey outfit, and is sealed away. When she escapes, she uses her powers to fight the even younger girl sent unwittingly to redeem her, who defeats her with The Power of Friendship and reunites her with her sister, the original Magical Girl.

Sounds pretty standard to me, right?

I like DW but not every aspect , espacaly Humans Are Special or Human Aliens those are my petpeeves. Maybe its are reason why I love that much pony version of Doctor.

I don't think it's that far-fetched to imagine Luna in her past life being an Evil Counterpart to Twilight Sparkle, the show's main "magical girl". It makes you think about why Celestia took such a shine to Twilight, for one thing. I'm starting to wonder if next season we'll find out that Luna has hardly gotten over her hopelessness yet and is afraid to face the world again.

He's a guy who travels time and space in a blue police box, solving mysteries, defeating aliens and generally getting involved in messed-up stuff.

Also has the most addictive theme music ever

And for some reason a pony with an hourglass on his butt keeps showing up in our show. Could HE be the doctor? Only time (ha!) will tell...

After watching "Baby, It's Cold Outside" epidoe of G1 I'm confinced that pingwins are perfet for role of Kaled and Doctor Whoof Daleks should be pingwin mutants. They use freeze ray insted death ray (but freezing to death).
