I like the Popeye idea.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
It would have to be apples.
... What the hell did I miss? Whining over names? Game theory? Huh?
You people are going by too fast for me to keep up when I have to leave. XD
If you wish to know, you only need to ask.
Spinach? Maybe. I like the shout out, but I think I prefer the idea of allowing the
P Cs to choose a trademark favorite food of some sort, rather than limiting them.

Interesting! Are you majoring in religious studies or in seminary, or was this a lark? You don't have to answer if you'd prefer not to, I'm simply too curious for my own good.

Well get home to all sorts of great news. Rumor about Derpy staying Derpy for good, and Acustic Brony finally released his Pinkie Pie theme. yay!
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Huh, somebody started following my fic that isn't published and requires a password to look at. Dunno how to feel about that.

Cool, though I fully understand the preference to not discuss it. I'll let it drop now, sorry.

Do all the doctors and nurses from the latest ep have names yet?
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
The page here says the head doctor featured in this ep is nicknamed Dr. Appleaday.
The third optioned you mentioned was probably closest to how I was imagining it would work in the theoretical game. hough I could see a classless, entirely skill-based system.

Well... when I had given my opinion on it last night I had been roughly classless, but thinking more along the line of builds - like, I had suggested the five elements of harmony (excluding magic, because Twilight seems fairly unique in being able to unlock it) each have a skill tree that you can points into to unlock new skills relating to them, and each tree is along a set of skills in a sort of class-esque system. Putting all of your points into one tree makes you essentially that class, but spreading your points around gives you a mixed build. Adding cutie marks into the mix is like... I don't know, I guess sort of like the job system in warcraft? You can make and build stuff aside from your 'class', but it's beneficial to pick a class that supplements your cutie mark. So a person with a chef cutie mark might be able to make healing or buffing foods, and so would want to specialize in the laughter or loyalty branch, which is stat effects and healing, respectively.
Is it me, or was the classic "grabs the hat just in the nick of time before the door falls" trope played REALLY harshly in Daring Do?
I honestly don't think I've ever seen a variation where the adventurer was about to get decapitated by the fucking door before!
Actually, Read It And Weep was a surprisingly violent episode anyway. Actual broken bones. Full body casts (the stallion next to RD) The adventurer stuff, which included arrow, lava and quicksand/snake/spider/crusher DEATH traps. Oh, and not to mention confirmation of mental illness in ponies with Screwy.
and to top it all off: That fucking noise that RD's wing made when she tried to fly with it! (shudder)

...yeah, actually. I guess by the standards of the show anything dealing with a serious injury seems pretty dark, but... still
I guess we are. As long as nobody minds, that is.
