Took a look at that "review." Got to:

When you're eager to get something but in the end, something happens that prevents you from getting it, you just feel cold and overwhelmed with it to where you get excited for nothing. And it's not a good feeling. Yes, she did show some arrogance about Pinkie, beating her first in the beginning of the episode, but given that she's failed many times in the pas, I find it understandable. Whenever Dash didn't get her mug of cider, I just couldn't help but sympathize with her. What if that was me? What if that was you? It's like bully, purposely moving your lunch money out of reach when he insists on giving it back to you. What irritated me more what Pinkie was showing off over Rainbow Dash. She's supposed to represent laugher and yet she shows boastfulness without the slightest thought of sympathy! Pinkie Pie! You're better than that!

And stopped reading.

It's too late in the day for me to watch this, plus I keep getting distracted. Oh well, I'll watch it in the morning.

I was able to actually predict how this episode was going to come out because of Spongebob XD I'm surprised at that. Then again they actually did do it in a pretty realistic way.

I read through the rest of it. Hooo boy, some of those complaints were hilarious. Complaining about the "I didn' learn anything!" joke and the running gag? And feeling *bad* about said running gag? I mean, really.

Still, it bugged me, and I took absolutely no pleasure from her persistant ignorance.

As I said, though, it wasn't anything close to a deal breaker.

@Pannic The running gag actually depressed me too. I didn't like it after a while

Yeah, poor Dash. =) She was kind of asking for it karmically, what with describing her plan to do mean-spiritedly to Pinkie what Pinkie did entirely unknowingly to her, but I was really glad to see her get some at the end. =)

I actually agree that Pinkie was being a jerk; I mean, when you know there's a limited supply of something, buying up enormous amount of it which the knowledge that there usually isn't enough for everyone is kinda a dick move. Of course, it's entirely within Pinkie's character to overindulge, so I didn't find it too much of a problem.

@Red Savant: Yeah, RD was a jerk as well, but given that Pinkie apparently pulls this crap every year, I can give RD a bit of sympathy.

My main issue with that review is that he tries to pass off his own preferences as objective criteria. It's fine if you don't like an episode for whatever reason, but don't try to pass it off as a bad episode unless there are actual problems outside of "I didn't like it".

You know what? The fact that Pinkie did all this in complete ignorance probably pissed me off MORE than if she'd done it intentionally. Being a jerk, I can understand, but being THAT obnoxiously ignorant is worse imo.
