Alright, I saw it. The musical number was excellent, and all the ponies' googly eyes was pretty sad.
And of course, AJ not learning anything was hilarious.
The Flim Flam bros. are my favorite villians now.
NO DEAL

Somethin' somethin' somethin'
STACK DAT CHEESE
Good episode. Ending was rushed, but it was worth it to have the awesome song.
Arg, I don't know whether I want to stick with crazy human Twilight as my avatar or switch to drunk Cheerilee.
Ok, saw the episode. Haven't seen an episode this predictable since Ticket Master.
It had some funny moments and the musical was nice. My biggest question, however, is why didn't anypony try a blind taste test? Certainly that would have resolved the problem of who can sell cider (even if that meant the Apple farm goes out of business).
I would be a little more harsh, but as soon as AJ said she didn't learn anything, I realized that this was a throw away episode. So I can be somewhat forgiving. I just hope Hasbro doesn't make more throw away episodes for a while.
Also, Big Macintosh said something other than "eeeyup." Yay.
One last thing; at the beginning of the episode, Rainbowdash pulls the covers off of Fluttershy's bed. Flutter looks down and blushes. What was that suppose to mean?
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
I could make a clopping joke...

I had feeling that clip involved some sort of innuendo. I just didn't think it was true because, well, they don't normally wear clothes
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
Well
I liked it.
It's also notable for beingone of the first episodes to show a character acting on the lesson they learned in a previous episode.
Just because the character writing the letter didn't learn anything doesn't mean there was no moral. Or that no one learned anything. I'd say RD learned the most in this ep

Thing is, no one gave a shit about quality until the end, QUANTITY was the only issue anyone cared about, and the Flim Flams clearly showed that they were willing to forego Quality just to make more Cider. That is NOT a good mindset for an enteprising businesspony to have
Why does everyone want to be pointlessly dark and mean-spirited

@Bad Quality over Quantity. She was the one most ready to emulate the Flim Flam's methods just in the name of winning before being talked down

I can sorta see where they are coming from. I mean, if anything came out of it, it was indeed the fact that the Apple family got a lot more apple cider than normal.
what can you say, some people will bitch about anything

Even if they were willing to use crap apples, it wouldn't have helped much. The Flim Flams were making Cider out of entire TREES. that would've added a crap ton of mass to each barrel, meaning they would've filled up each barrel a lot quicker.
The mane cast STILL would've lost AND had barrels full of Sub-par cider. It just wasn't worth it
