Ginger, chill man. None of the cast showed up AJ. Even if they were able to keep up with her, they were doing so for less than an hour and were worn out afterwards. You really think they could work an entire day on the farm? Probably not.

@Ginger: Well... it's hard to describe, lol. Basically, what I'm saying is that AJ has enough mad skillz at cidermaking that the only thing the Mane Six can really contribute are extra helping hooves.

Also Crowfall has it right, her epic stamina is unmatched by the others.

Besides that. The current summary on the wiki makes it seem like the Apple family are being mean, but after watching, they were not mean at all. They were simply worried about their farm. The Flim Flam brothers are overconfident and they acted arrogant, but I wouldn't even label them a minor antagonist or call them jerks, they are just business ponies who know how to make profit.

Applejack calling her friends her 'family', was really sweet. Compare this to the Applejack who wanted to do everything herself during applebuck season. Anyway, if the main six team up again, they can make enough cider to satisfy the whole town!

Speaking of Fluttershy, what the hay was she doing to the trees?

She was shaking the trees from amongst their branches?

@Ginger: It's just that you're a total paranoid wreck when you look at it. Calm down, man! Besides, they used The Power Of Teamwork. I'm sure there's some Mcguffin explanation involving the Elements of Harmony or something.

@Bunai: I think that their little speech about how they were going to tear down the farm after they won the competition definitely pushed them into jerk territory.

Btw, One moment I loved was AJ lassoing the Flim Flam's first barrel of Cider. The way it not only smacked RD's mug from her hoof, but also landed in a position for AJ to rest her hooves on like a table was SO COOL!

Also, that end bit where Pinkie gives Dashie one of her mugs of Cider is totally a shiptease.

Ah, Ginger, I've been meaning to ask, but do you like any of the Mane Cast besides Applejack?

For once, I would actually like to see a non-Ponyville one-shot character that's actually not a jerk at all.

Seemed more like a 'yeah we won, lets rub it in' speech. Like typical jock-talk. It seemed the writers wanted to push them into jerkdom, but it never quite reached. imo
