I have nothing to show for this pagetopper.

Ed, What do you do, exactly?

Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
I agree with you, Drenius. I'm also aware that it can take a lot out of you, and cleansing isn't always a pleasant experience while it's happening, so I can see where Ginger's coming from too.
Can you think inside the chimney?
Worked for me, Drenius. In fact, even now I can't listen to that music without remembering...
I'MA RAPE YA, BITCH!
@Red That and the fact that crying leaves me feeling DEAD... not happy. and It usually leaves me in a hypersensitive state that generally leads to an unstoppable bout of depression that lasts for WEEKS on end

Ed, I've no idea how advertising actually works, just misinformed visions fed to me by stuff like the hudsucker proxy and Madmen.

Well, that just goes to show how people vary. For example, depression tends to be my general state of being and I feel much more relieved when I've had a chance to have a cry. God, how I bawled when my dog died.

I've never been a big fan of that type of catharsis. I don't mind tearjerker moments on principle, but I prefer them as part of a larger work rather than the point of the work itself.
Oh, I see.
I ask cause I usually think you're pretty sensitive towards talking about this stuff.

I sure do seem to have a lot of unpopular opinions!
Hey, I didn't like Cutie Pox either. We all have minority opinions, it's just that
some of us make a big deal about it.
It's pronounced "Te-ah-low-ve"
@Drenius: Well, we don't all wear fancy suits. Only the suits wear the suits, if you take my meaning.
Well, I don't usually believe in catharsis unless the emotional breaking-down is accompanied by a building up
hottipped for Ginger's convenience which I most certainly believe Centerpiece accomplishes
. It does boil down to the fact that not everything works for different people, though.

I heard that. I still think I have more minority opinions than you guys do though

"...more minority opinions..." Oh my. That's going in my scrapbook.

Well, Red, that's what great about Dick's work, there are usually chapters of building up interspersed with the grander plot before the eventual breakdown.

Well I used My Little Dashie to achieve the same effect.
@Blue I meant that I think I'm more justified in being upset over it than most people are.

I'm not as sensitive as I used to be and I really haven't cried for any reason, especially towards works of fiction, I can understand sad moments but tearjerkers just frustrates me because I feel as though pathos is being forced from me only it's not working, and I hate being depressed.
