Ginger, I once fell asleep at my grandfather's funeral. And admittedly didn't even cry for my aunt when she died despite being fairly close. Half the time I feel like a complete alien when people tell me something distressing.

I was gonna bring up some heavy stuff, but whatever...

I think Pinkie could use some therapy. Maybe Twilight, too.

I didn't cry at any of the funerals I've been to. But I did cry at one episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It was the episode where Ed, Al and Winry find out about what happened to Hughes. And I cried reading Bittersweet.

I didn't cry for either of my grandfathers' funerals, and I feel bad about that. I don't think I ever talked to them enough, because one had ALS and the other lived pretty far away, and I wish I'd chatted with them more. I know hardly anything about them.

That I shed more tears over Fell leaving than my Grandma dying can't say anything good about me

I shed more tears over the death of my fish than either my aunt or my cousins deaths...but I'd say it was because I saw it as a personal failure on my part...there was nothing I could do for them.

I'm overly proud like that.

Hehe. I know I shouldn't laugh, but now it kind of looks like we're trying to measure which of us is more emotionally damaged. Which is a competition I'd rather not get involved in.

So, how about those ponies?

Woah. Heavy stuff going on in the thread tonight.

I cried more over my cat's death than my grandfathers. I felt like a terrible person for it for awhile, but I think it was because I sort of knew it was coming and could emotionally prepare.

[up]Those ponies are great. I'm a fan.

When my uncle died, I went 2 days without crying. I just went about my business as usual. I too thought I was sick in the head and so I went to a counselor on the 3rd day where I finally cried.

Wow, I just typed that without becoming depressed. I guess I'm overcoming my anxiety.

Edit: [up][up]Ok, I'm sorry, but I laughed at that. I think you're right.

I never shed any tears for either of my grandfathers' deaths, though I think I was just too young to really understand the reality of what had happened. I wouldn't take shed tears as a measure of one's moral worth, Ginger. =)

Oh, the ponies? Yeah, they're pretty cool guys who fight Discord and don't afraid of much.

Do you think any of the mane cast would fail to cry over their family member's deaths?

Probably not. They're a pretty emotional bunch.

[up]I could definitely see Twilight or Rainbow Dash suppressing their emotions.

And yeah, Red is pretty much right; how much you cry about something doesn't really say much about what kind of person you are.

So...ponies...

if every mane pony gets three stories, what's AJ and Pinkies third going to be?

I predict:

A Js Manehattan past gets a look,

Pinkie's eating gets out of control,
