I believe the official explanation of Flash vs. Supes is that Flash is faster then Superman while running, but Superman is faster at flying then Flash is at running.

I don't see how that can be possible - Superman is still bound by physics, which means he must fly slower than the speed of light. The Flash both can and has run faster than the speed of light.

Conversation between me and my girlfriend re: today's episode -

Me: So thoughts about this ep?

Her: Derpy~
um, I like the Pinkie Promise bit and having some action, but this wasnt my fave ep

Me: Yeah, agreed.
I personally thought Pinkie was overplayed.
This pretty much shows that she's better in small doses.

Her: well I didnt mind Pinkie, other than the fact the cherrychanga scene went on too long
it's more than I just wasnt feeling applejacks motivation
I mean I get she was trying to earn the money and all, but...ehh

Me: Well, the problem is that she was being full of pride.
And you've seen how stubborn she can be in her ways.
When she couldn't accept being proud for coming in the top 5 and not in 1st, and thus not winning money, she felt that she couldn't go back.
And, to be perfectly honest, the others could've handled it better as well, especially Rainbow Dash.
I know she's the Element of Loyalty, but that's no excuse to be an ass towards somebody when you don't have the whole story.

Her: it just felt a bit eh, best bit was Derpy and finding out what happens if you break a Pinkie Pie Promise (for sake of lulz)

RD is so fast because her CM magic propells her to super high speeds. She has magical assitance...

AJ's magic is related to farming...her athletic talents are pure talent.

We need an EP with a tonne weight CM...who could stop the Friendship Express dead in it's tracks with their hooves...then smash it to pieces.

Give them a Russian accent, and call them the Stallion Of Steel!

Everyone has an opinion on who's more awesome, Ginger. I find Fluttershy to have more "awesome" moments than the rest of the mane cast, but you don't see me complaining when everyone else thinks otherwise.
