Another one of my problems with Pinkie: If you don't find her funny, everything falls apart

In Swarm of the Century, Over a Barrel, and Luna Eclipsed.

Just smile and nod whenever PP starts to bother you Ginger and then pretend she didn't speak at all.

That's how I go through 50% of Winx Club.

So.... yeah, Pinkie's a touchy subject for me. I honestly am TRYING to get better though. I'm aware that I haven't been doing very well, but...

So, yeah, I really like this episode, though I don't think that there are any episodes that I particularly dislike. This one definately wins the award for making me laugh the most though. My favorite bits:

1) The babies' reaction to Pinkie's song. Best WTF faces ever.

2) Pound using flight to walk on the ceiling.

3) Pinkie's actually intelligent resourcefulness in trying to restrain what were essentially babies with superpowers being overcome by the babies developing even more powers/strength. Seriously, once things got really crazy, she thought on her hooves a lot better than I would have in her place, and I actually do babysit on a regular basis.

This shouldn't count. She didn't incite a war, she was trying to get eveyone to set aside thei differences.

This shouldn't count either. Nobody would listen to her when she tried to explain so the "unnecessary CHAOS" isn't her fault.

She was joking and she didn't expect Luna's feelings to be hurt. Plus she stopped when confronted about it towards the end. So this shouldn't count either.

I really don't see how she's done anything to be called out on at all so far.

Umm. . .

• If it didn't work in the first place then trying it again was just stupid of her.
• They weren't listening because she wasn't explaining herself at all.
• She really should have realized what was going on when Twilight tried to get her to shake hooves, but nooo she had to keep having "fun".

So yeah, she has definitely had her moments.

Why does everyone want her to be infallable? Dammit!!

Someone, tell her she's wrong. Tell her that she's being unreasonable. Have her insanity or good fortune NOT solve the episode for once.

I just assume Pinkie is a bit autistic or has aspergers or something. Yeah she can screw things up, but it's mostly because she isn't really that good at communicating in any non party form. Every problem she's caused has been because of her misreading how to respond to a situation, which isn't so bad that she needs a massive punishment for it. She is absolutely at fault at times, but not so much so that her friends need to chew her out.

No one is saying that she is infallible. We know that she screws up. We just don't think she needs to suffer for it to the extent that you do. None of her mistakes are malicious, and she has moments like Party of One where she feels like crap. Why go over the top with it?

No, what I want is people to understand that until now she's lacked a reason to be called out because she hasn't done anything to deserve it.

Everyone else has made mistakes and been called out on them though. Why can't she?

• The fact that it didn't help make peace and in fact made things worse the first time makes her intentions moot.
• Of course they kept waving her way. Because she wasn't doing anything to make them understand the situation or her plan.In their view she was just going around collecting instruments for no reason.
• The fact that she realized later on really does not negate the fact that she was being insensitive to Luna.
