Pinkie did a better job than I would have. I'd never take up the opportunity to babysit because 1. I'm not good with kids and 2. I have my own physical problems to worry about.

I love the foal's WTF? Expression while Pinkie is doing her piggy thing.

She got them to like her, so they were more inclined to be nice with her. That's a good way to deal with kids, I think.

Red, it wasn't infuriating, and there are some good bits. Unfortunately, the pacing felt a little off for me.

I've got no problem with Pinkie not entirely being able to calm the babies down at the end. It is her first time watching them after all, and she was well aware that she was terrible at it. So now she has a reason to try to be better at handling the kids rather than just playing all the time. It isn't like other episodes where something weird she does solves the problem with no lasting consequences, here she actually learned from the experience and will try to improve herself.

Well, up until that point, she wasn't exactly going about it all in the right way, was she?

I mean, stand-up comedy?

And I'm pretty sure that you have to feed babies of that age, rather than giving them a bowl and saying "dig in".

With everything up unitl that point, she either missed the point, or got frantic, or both.

Pinkie (aside from her crying, I enjoyed her here)
The Foals (adorable, except for their HAX powers)
The moral/ending (it annoys me the more I think about it)

@Ginger: That actually sounds like a fair moral: there is no one-stop solution for everything, and what works normally might not work in special circumstances. =)

Of course, that's rather vague for Pinkie, perhaps.

I might be able to explain their HAX powers. I explained Pound's flight a page or two back...

Also it's good they used a different design for the foals than the one in TMMDW.

I agree with Ginger that the resolution was rather weak. It kind of undermines everything. Broken Aesop indeed.

And the HAX babies thing annoys me. I mean, sure, we can say MAGIC and be done with it, but that sort of explanation simply bothers me. It's giving up.

Kayeka is learning how to draw. Feedbacks, hints and protips greatly appreciated. The DARK CUBE wills it!
