Twilight and Rarity mention that baby unicorns have magic surges that come and go, so maybe that's why Pumpkin is so hax (Imagine Twilight and Rarity as foals! What were their "magic surges"?). Doesn't explain Pound though...

Ginger I'm with you on this. I would have preferred if Pinkie had actually managed to resolve the infant's troublesome behavior rather than having them decide to cut her some slack.

I do agree that the babies were too reasonable at the end. Babies are heartless monsters who care not for your suffering. But otherwise I loved this episode. Pinkie was at her best and didn't get annoying at all.

I will agree with Pinkie's lack of ability to actually resolve the situation. But she did at least come close once. Would you have rather she pulled some bullshit pinkie magic to solve the problem?

ok time to fan wanck out an explanation for the uber-twins.

well, first off it's magic, but by that I mean, not only uni's magic but a pegasi's flying ability is also helped by magic. The mane 6 hinted at the babies having some weird things happening as the magic developed, so seems that sort of thing is normal. Baby ponies just get surges of magical energy, in Uni's this means random stuff happens, maybe even some stuff they can't do when they grow up, just because as they grow they slowly develop internal power limiters that prevent there magic from getting out of control. But as a foal, magic just comes pouring out un controlled and unfiltered doing random things the baby wants.

As to the pegasus flying, add the magic build up giving him the power to fly, maybe the wings develop slower then the rest, so as an infant body and wings are at the same level, and due to the ponies lower weight they can fly at times, but as they grow there body gets heavier faster then there wings get stronger, which of course falls apart when he drags Pinkie around, but I'll attribute that to having inherited some earth pony strength genes.

Here's some Fridge Brilliance for you. Human babies can swim as a natural instinct, but they lose that instinct as they grow and have to relearn it. Maybe it's the same thing with pegasi and flight.
