One thing that's always made me curious is Twilight and Celestia's relationship. Twilight, whenever Celestia is involved, jumps to the worst conclusion, whether it be banishment or magic kindergarten. But other than "Lesson Zero, " Celestia seems pretty calm and forgiving. So what made Twilight so afraid of her?

Only three things matter to a hero: strength, courage, and nard-kicking ability.
Goodnight, guys. I'm going to hit the hay.
Tealove is best pony.

SS: She's prolly just neurotic.
Twilight seems pretty high strung. Jumping to the worst possible conclusion is probably typical for her.
Maybe it's some kind of inferiority complex. She's afraid of not being the best because Celestia told her she was so powerful.

I feel like Twilight has absolutely no reason to fear Celestia ever getting angry at her, but she also doesn't want to let the Princess down. It's just another way that Celestia's not really viewed as a person by her subjects - the trappings of the crown come first. I mean, Twilight had to
mind-control an entire village before Celestia gave her a stern talking-to; that was probably the first time she'd ever had to, simply because Twilight worked so hard and toed the unnecessarily strict line she drew for herself.
Actually, her behavior in the pilot supports this. She's self-confident and a little egotistical - why? Because the Princess has never once been disappointed with her.
You'll make it through, Apple.
Use the boost if necessary. =D

Can you think inside the chimney?
Also, Twilight isn't the best when it comes to assessing the emotional state of others.
