I think that the Forest and castle became what they are now due to the clash between Luna and Celestia. I like to imagine that it's called the "Everfree Forest" because the clash of magic made it too wild for its flora and fauna to be
tamed ever again. For
ever freed by the outpouring of magic.
So, I noticed that in Granny Smith's backstory, she referred to the
Smith family, not the
Apple family. Perhaps she married into the Apple family, which makes me wonder where the family came from.
And with Smith being her maiden name, we can honestly refer to her as Granny Smith Apple.

I wish MLPFIM was on Boomerang in Poland too, instead some channel for little kids what I can't even reach.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
No doubt there will be some otaku-tier bronies who get at least 3 copies of any potential DVD set: one to display, one to watch, and one spare in reserve.
My only question is if all this bizarre stuff like talking to the jars or painting polka dots on the wall is necessary for making Zap Apple Jam, why did AB seem so surprised when Granny Smith was doing it? We know they've done this before...
Didn't Apple Bloom say it was her first time helping Granny Smith with it? I think I remember that...

I don't think Applebloom was surprised by what Granny was doing, she just suddenly realized how embarrassing it was. She seemed fine dressing up like a bunny and hopping around the water until DT began heckling her.
Remember when Pinkie and Dashie painted AJ's apples with rainbow stripes all the way back in Gilda's episode? AJ's shocked initial reaction might have meant a lot more.
It also implies either Pinkie or Dashie have lived in Ponyville long enough to learn about the Zap-apples.
