Nobody's saying it's a flaw. We're just theorizing about it. All we're saying is that if they so desired, they'd be able to put down the rules that the Everfree forest follows. I don't think anyone is saying that they know how those rules come to be, or that they'd be able to recreate it.

Hey, btw, remember the foils as 40k fighters? BR and PI make a really deadly tag team...PI can strip you of your armour...then BR beats you black and blue with the log.

I played a mock fight this morning waiting for breakfast to cook...they killed a Carnifex!

All of Equestria was Luna's domain, as well as Celestia's. They ruled together, not separate chunks of the country.

What confuses me if why their are two palaces then. The ancient palace in Everfree forest where the Eo H where stored and Canterlot where Celestia rules. If they both held over the entire domain together then they both should have ruled from Canterlot (which according to Hearthswarming has been around since the founding of Equestria)

Well, even if she is the ruler, Luna doesn't seem to do much besides lounge around and go clubbing. Not a lot of political duties to keep yourself busy at night, are there?

DID the episode say that Canterlot had existed since the birth of Equestria?

It's possible that the ancient palace was used in ancient times and the new palace is used for modern day.

I guess that Luna is the party princess. I want to see what sort of relationship she has with Blueblood.

they were in the everfree forest castle as a part of Celestia's gambit to purify Luna, remember?

The mane cast becoming true friends on their journey to find the elements was the entire point

Creating a whole Palace, storing the Eo H there, and letting it to ruin, seems a bit....execsive. If that was the goal then a cave or dar chasam would have done just as well.

No, I think they originally used to live there, but after the Nightmare Moon incident, Celestia left the castle on purpose and moved to Canterlot in order to let the elements become "lost"

She may have also created the Everfree forest as a kind of natrual barrier to defend the elements.

Besides, that castle probably holds a lot of bad memories. She was probably looking for a reasonable excuse to leave anyway
