Don't really remember saying anything like that Ginger, but maybe I just ignored the hateful, spiteful comments.

Hell, who here does that? I've never seen anyone call one race superior to earth ponies. I mean, the pegasi are probably my favourite race, but I wouldn't call them superior. Each race was designed to have unique skill sets to the degree where you simply couldn't call one superior to another.

And there's never been anyone on the forum who would do something out of spite, I don't think.

Just ignore them Ginger. Earth Ponies learn stuff easier, and they potentially get Pinkie-tier brokeness. Stealth, Clairvoyance (Pinkie Sense), Extreme Outrunning (watch her beat Dashie in a chase sequence), Extreme Agriculture, and such crazy perks.

Yeah the whole point of the show is that noone is superior. But everyone needs each other.

Yeah, Fallen hit the nail on the head. Really, I think the races are so different that trying to say which one is "best" is comparing apples and oranges. Or apples and rutabaga or something even less fruit-like.

I know I'm 4 pages late on this, but I needed to answer that thing about strength.

Unicorns would be the weakest race, but if they hit the gym a lot, and became a body builder, they could probably reach the lowest end of EP strength. A bodybuilder pegasus might go a bit further on the strength scale, but more in wings than hooves. E Ps would be off the charts, strength-wise, so much that they can haul trains at high speed, as previously mentioned.

But what about my really good point that you can't disagree with (except for that one guy who was wrong anyways)? Wouldn't that perk you right back up?

And AJ is potentially pretty broken, too. I mean she's pretty much The Mario of the group, except that instead of having middle of the line stats hers are consistantly in the high range. She easily the strongest, fast enough to keep up with Dash, endurant enough to work for days, and propably tough as nails. Rarity tackled her in the gut, horn first, and AJ kept on kickin'. Not to mention super-ass rope skills.

It was from Look Before You Sleep. I can't remember exactly when, but I'm pretty sure it happens in or around the pillow fight.

@Sky Strike: Actually, here's the thing. I had always thought of the pegasi as the weakest - it makes sense, right? They'd have to be light, which means frail bodies and most of their muscle is in the wings. The rest of the muscle would be fairly weak.

But the pegasi were the warior caste in olden days. What does that say about them? Either they're stronger than they look, and their flight comes more from magic than physiology, or it's possible they make up for their lack of strength by being much more agressive, as well as fast and manueverable. I suppose the arial advantage is good as well.

I would assume they could get more momentum diving from hundreds of feet in the air rather than just charging the enemy. Plus, the whole aggressive-ness is still a pegasus trait today, except it's become more competitive than war-like.
