E Ps by comparsion...are cavalry with both the Move Through Cover and Skilled Rider rules...and have a high Strength...and maybe Balisitic Skill.

So if a Pegasi assults...they are as strong as an EP on average.

[up]Well, RD does have a habit of going into a freakout at the possibility of something screwing up the reputation she's built for herself. As soon as stuff gets out of her control she freaks.

[up][up][up] A feather that acted more like skin than anything though [lol]

As a person who's caught bits of his skin under heavy objects, I can sympathize with how much that might've smarted waii

because of Turnabout Storm, I believe the "Pegasi only release excess lightning from clouds rather than generate it themselves" theory

Again, cartoon abstraction. Real-world equivalent would be getting your fingers pinned under a rock. You could lop them off and bandage the stump if you're really desperate, but you'd probably wait for help first.
The end of the world as we know it. Like weekends usually are, but more dire.

She didn't even notice she was pinned until she tried to take off, anyway. Gotta love cartoon invincibility.

[up][up][up][up][up]Sounds about right. Though I would also assume EP have a relatively high toughness to. What about the stats of a unicorn?

On brokenness: I think that it's not so much that Twilight's talent is Magic, so much as her passion is Magic. Even before she had her freak-out and got her mark, she was fascinated and enraptured by magic in all its forms. And after becoming Celestia's student, she poured all of her time into study and research.

Yeah, she started out with some Gohan-esque untapped potential, but she's only reached her current level by making the study of magic her entire life for pretty much her entire life. She might have started out with a leg up over some other Unicorns, but it was only because she spent years and years of sleepless nights working on it that she got where she is.

Other unicorns, I do believe, aren't interested in magic as a whole, so much as they are interested in learning and perfecting the spells that help them in whatever their own passion is.

I mean, just look at Rarity. Fine-tuned telekinesis and item animation, on many different items at once, to make dresses with precision and style. Heck, in Sweet and Elite, she was seen making the foundation for the dress with just a flash of magic.

I believe it was either Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan who said that they feared not a man who has practiced 1000 kicks 1 time each, but the man who has practiced 1 kick 1000 times. Twilight is an example of someone who has practiced 1000 kicks 1000 times, at the expense of everything else.

Higher INT, WIS, and CHA, compared to their STR, DEX, and CON.

[up][up][up][up] Adrenaline from trying to dodge the avalanche deadened any pain she might've felt or a while?

It WAS bandaged when she emerged from the gorge. I assume it was hurting her

[up][up] I dislike characters with that kind of skill (fine, shoot me! Put me out of my misery!)

She might have pulled a muscle when trying to pull away from the boulder, so she bandaged up to avoid straining it.

Hey Mio,

I just made up a quick 40k statline for Pig Iron (I'm quick like that).

He's got an average statline...but it's his powers that make him awesome...in an assualt, if he scores a hit he can trade in all his attacks to take a Leadership Check...if he passes, he permenantly removes the armour save of one enemy model in contact with him...as he magically dissasembles their suit while tutting and muttering shoddy under his breath! [lol]

Oh, Unicorns are just basic cavalry with the statline of your average human...it's their powers that get them awesome points.

[up]So how does that work aganist vehicles? Like Entropic Strike?

I am reminded of the time I was on Spacebattles, when they worked out Space Marine classifications for the mane six. This is what we came up with.

TS: Librarian(duh)

AJ: Terminator

RD: Vanguard

Rarity: Techmarine

FS: Apothecary

PP: Chaplin

[up] With Pleasure!

WS:4 BS:3 S:4 T:4 W:2 I:2 A:2 LD:8 SV:-

He fights with the Defender...a log tied to a chain swung by the tail. Grants him +2 strength.

He also has Furious Charge, Fleet, Feel No Pain, Move Through Cover and Skilled Rider.

Basically, Big Rig is a braver Ork Nob with a better BS, no armour or grenades, and he fights with a 'Uge Choppa.

@Ginger

I just don't like the constant talk about how she's broken just because. If she's at a broken level, it's because she worked her plot off for years to get that far.

I also don't like people disliking her as a character for being broken. It sounds all too much like what Twilight thought people would think of her for most of Boast Busters.

@Enlong hehe. Now tell me, say Twilight DIDN'T have all that potential but still trained JUST as hard as she does now. Would she still have been able to move the Ursa Minor?

Hard Work Hardly Works is one of those tropes that grinds my gears, not necessarily because the hero is strong WITHOUT needing to train, but because training alone isn't enough.

It's like: Hard Work only works if you were natrually gifted from the start. It's an instinctual reaction that just rubs e the wrong way whenever I see it.

Twilight is my second favourite mane cast member by a pretty wide magain btw. I DO like her.

[up][up] For Chuckles, I'm looking at the statline of an Inquistional Death Cult Assassian.

Pig Iron is a Techpreist Enginseer,

and MB is an Inqusitor.

[up][up][up][up] There's finally a thread for OC characters?
Only three things matter to a hero: strength, courage, and nard-kicking ability.
