How about reading them in small amounts at a time? Or you could invest in a e-book. I'm a bit confused why you don't like reading at your computer for a long time. Uncomforable?

I don't mind loading my e-books into tablets :D I can't just print and bind that many pages worth of good and bad fanfiction :V

Yes, but that's different. Talking to people is different to reading a story

It just feels wrong reading a sizable story without a tangible book in front of me. Without needing to turn pages and such, I just can't invest myself in the story the same way.

You could always just read it in chunks.

I hate the idea of using an E-Reader. Whenever possible I'd want to have an actual book. Of course with Fanfic that's not feasible so I deal with it.

ffs Just RELEASE Fallout Equestria in book format. That and DT SUICIDE!!!!!! are the only reasons I won't read it

I'm used to it already, but then again my hunger (addiction?) to reading stuff in general has made me quite receptive to things like the Internet to begin with :V I do like printed books, but space is a major weakness for me atm D:

I bet Twilight would love the concept of computers.

It's a shame, Ginger. There are plenty of good, but long fanfics out there online. All that I can recomend is you try anyway, or learn how to print books.

I am very much enjoying Through The Eyes Of Another Pony. Its got a fairly, but not incredibly, serious plot, but funny, well writen characters, which I like alot. :)

I used to print some of my fanfics, but ink and toner and paper are expensive and it's an awful lot of effort to even do crude bindings D:

When I print them off I just use a paperclip to hold them together and throw away the pages as I go. It's kind of fun actually.

I print my stuff off on 11 X 17 paper, single spaced, size eight font, half inch margins. It cuts down on the amount of paper that goes missing out of the printer at work.

Yes, because I'm against fanfics in principal, so they'd need to be something that I have almost NO CHANCE of disliking for me to enjoy it in spite of my bias

I used to print landscape in two columns, then split the pages so I read in A5 format.
