I think it would depend on WHAT fanfics we tried telling, some of the more fun crossover fics, maybe. Cupcakes? Hell no! And yeah probly ponified versions of real stories. Or if we don't get ponified, the real ones, since seeing actual humans would make them easier to understand, and maybe seem more exotic.
Also, just thought of it, if were human there, be hilarious if we all went to find the Mane 6, and before we got there got assaulted by Lyra...oh even better, we get ponified, the mane 6 and Princesses are the only one that know we aren't really ponies, or even no-pony knows, but Lyra is suspicious and keeps trying to trick/trap us and learn the truth about humans.

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Has Rainbow Dash gone insane yet? I think she needs one.
By the way, that is a photo of me in my avatar.
Let's see, Rarity's would probly be the result of some dress she's working hard at not going right, and she end's up obsessing about it trying to get it right, putting more and more effort into it, ignoring everything else to get this one outfit
perfect.
AJ I think is just to stable and level headed to really have a full on break down, closest would be her letting her stubbornness get the best of her and keep working at something that she just can't do past the point it's obviously not going to work. Like Applebuck Season, only without the added excuse of over-tiredness and concussion.
RD we've kind seen on in Sonic Rainboom

Considering how RD and Rarity are both drama queens, just in different ways, I'd say they both need a proper one.
If AJ was to lose it...it could be because she is absolutely determined that she is going to accomplish something in someway.
Tealove is best pony.

Rainbowdash would need to have her confidence completely and utterly shattered, probably by some trumatizing event.
Not necessarily. Just a really bad rut.
Everyone does. Although I personally think Applebuck season covered that.
Apple buck season really is the closest AJ could get to a freakout, obsessing over getting something done and her stubbornness making her ignore the fact that she can't do it. The majority of the issues she had were side effects of side effects. namely over-tiredness from her pushing herself to hard to sleep right. Not from any direct mental slippage.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Which makes it the most realistic by far.
I have to wonder if we'll get something a bit more dramatic from AJ in "The Last Roundup" or "Super Speedy".
Can you think inside the chimney?
