She doesn't care WHO gets imprisoned for the crime as long as it's one of Twilight's friends. That's just dickish and spiteful, but BEAUTIFUL at the same time

I'm going through all the stuff like that. Next is Rainbow Factory I think.

Fluttershy breaks Rainbow Dash's mind down and convinces her that Fluttershy is her mother.

It's really bad. Rainbow's characterisation is completely different from the show, Fluttershy is obviously out of character and her plan isn't even very good.

Actually it's just standard Nightmare Fuel.

I'm going to call Swarm of the Century 2.0 on this one.

Swarm of the Century was so excellent it's hard to surpass.

It is my first favourite episode.

Also, Is it posible to refer to yourself in the 2nd person?

I have very high standards when it comes to the Moral Event Horizon

Moral Event Horizon is best identifiable as a trope when it is treated so in story.

It's that line someone crosses to change from "meh, kind of a dick" to "Oh. It. Is. ON."

From what I understand intentionally hurting Fluttershy is treated like this in story.

Personally, I have three suspects so far as about who killed Ace:

Trixie herself. She broke out of her third person speech when Applebloom said something she hadn't heard. Considering her giant ego, this has to mean something.
Fluttershy. Yeah, you've read it right. Her version of events have some holes in it, as Phoenix pointed out. Her motive seems unknown for me though.
Alternatively, what if RD really killed Ace? Though it's a bit much of a stretch, Phoenix's magatama may work differently when dealing with ponies. She has a motive and Twilight was so desperate to save her that she decided to summon Nick to Equestria. Magatama's reaction to her touch is also somewhat suspicious, not to mention her awkward explanation about how she knows his name.
Gilda seems far too obvious for me. Feather seems to point out at her, but isn't "Equestrian 500" pony-exclusive? Twilight mentioned that lightningproof suit means to protect ponies, not contestants.

Name's Fergard Stratoavis. And no, I'm not Duke Nukem's ripoff.
