PS. In hindsight, it would have been obvious, except that in the most famous real-life example, "Air Force" is shortened to AF.

Whoa, I just noticed this—Twilight Sparkle's dad looks almost exactly the same as Blues! Besides their manestyles, the only differences are their Cutie Marks and that Twilight's dad is a unicorn while Blues is an earth pony*.

My mind is actually trying to come up with the concept for a crossover of A Song of Fire and Ice and FIM.

Celestia dies. Succession crisis between Twilight, Luna and Prince Blueblood. Winter is coming, and the wardens on the border of Equestria urge the ponies to stop fighting amongst themselves and unite against the return of the Windigos.
