I just can't imagine all of AJ's friends (and AJ herself) getting all that worked up over a few mistakes.

Then again it is probably all some misunderstanding, but still. Odd.

Well I picture Twilight as the one who the bonds them together. Yeah she's level headed, but I consider that to be AJ's role.

AJ seems to go to Twilight if there's a problem (if cutie pox is any indication)

I guess you could say... AJ solves practical problems

I'm going to place my faith in Lauren and the badass all-star crew behind the show.

@Fallen: Even in those episodes, Applejack tend to be less wrong. In "Fall Weather Friends", she didn't start cheating until Rainbow Dash basically forced her to cheat to keep up, and in "Look Before You Sleep" I'd have to side with AJ on the tree branch fight at the beginning. It was really more important to get the dead branches down before the storm. But she definitely was wrong about taking shots at Rarity all night.

@Ginger: Really, you'll enjoy the show more if you don't take it so personally. Whatever happens happens, and you're better off just enjoying the good stuff that happens rather than focusing on the parts you don't like. Even if AJ really isn't that competent in this episode, it doesn't necessarily make the character any less interesting or likeable.

I know. I just want her to get a good episode under her belt.

You can't say you don't understand how I must have felt when I read that synopsis.

So... How are we feeling about the synopsis for the other two episodes?

Really, none of the synopsises resonate with me all that much, but given that some of the best episodes had lousy synopsises as well, I'm going to reserve judgement until we actually see the episodes in question. The summaries are not a good indicator of what the episodes will be like.

Hmm... Previous My Little Pony episodes about babysitting tended to go in strange directions, and with Pinkie Pie as the focus, I could see it being one of the most insane plots yet.

How big of a FIM fan am I? I have a package of brightly-colored drinking straws. I usually pick one blindly. If I get an orange one, I think: Applejack, yay! A pink one? Pinkie Pie, yay! And so on. Just now, I picked a green one.

On a more serious note... not sure what to think of the episodes. I still wished that Baby Cakes would have been a pinkie focus episode, since I really do like her focus episodes, but at least it's confirmed that the toddlers are indeed the cakes', right? So that at least is good.

The last roundup seems weird. I know it says off day and all, but I can't imagine AJ constantly screwing up.

But, well, as it's been said the synopses don't always give a real good explanation of what happens. there's still hope for them to be good. AAAAAAARGH, I wish I could figure out who the writer will be before they air! The week leading up to Baby Cakes is going to kill me.

Right now, it's a cup of beer with ice, because I forgot to put beer in the refrigerator.
